He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at UNILAG, followed by an M.Sc. in Risk Management with Distinction and a Ph.D. in Insurance Ethics from Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University, United Kingdom.
Professor Obalola has served as Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Deputy Director of the Academic Planning Unit at UNILAG. He coordinates the Executive Master of Risk Management (MRM) at ULBS.
