Career background and academic scholarship
Professor Oluyemi Akinloye is a Professor of Clinical Chemistry and Molecular Diagnosis at the University of Lagos and Director of the Center for Genomics of Non-Communicable Diseases and Personalized Healthcare. He coordinates the Executive Master of Health Logistics and Supply Chain Management (EM-HLSCM) at ULBS.
Formerly a Senior Research Associate with the Nanotoxicology Research Group at the University of Alberta, Canada, he has conducted postdoctoral research at the WHO Collaboration Centre in Muenster, Germany, and was a visiting fellow at Harvard School of Public Health (USA).
Professor Akinloye is an alumnus of the Lindau Meetings of Nobel Laureates, where he served as an Academic Ambassador for a decade. He holds a North American registered patent and has published more than 100 research articles in esteemed journals.
