Bolajoko Nkemdinim Dixon-Ogbechi, started her early education in Rome, Italy. She speaks and writes Italian and English language and also speaks, Yoruba fluently and a bit of French language. She is a Marketing and Decision Sciences/Operations Research specialist. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration, University of Lagos, Nigeria, and was also a visiting scholar to Salem State University, Salem, MA, USA. She was educated in Rome, Italy, University of Lagos and Salem State College (now Salem State University). She holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration, M.Sc. Marketing with Distinction and Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Lagos.
Dr. Dixon-Ogbechi has conducted research in Marketing(Strategic Marketing and Relationship Marketing), Decision Sciences/Operations Research (Analytic Hierarchy Process Model), Sports Marketing and Prefabricated Methodology amongst others. She has been lecturing on both part time and full time basis at the University of Lagos for over twenty years. She has supervised over five hundred postgraduate thesis and has effectively participated in community services both within and outside the university at both local and international levels.
She is a an active member of many national and international professional bodies including American Marketing Association (member and Alpha Mu Alpha - αµα), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (member and Registered Marketer) and Institute for Operations Research and Management Science - IORMS, Nigeria(Fellow).Her area of expertise is in Marketing and Decision Sciences/Operations Research and she has authored/co-authored: books, Journal articles and Conference Proceedings.
