Objectives
The specific objectives of the EMBA programme include:
- Providing an environment that inspires innovative problem solving among students with the support of experienced academics and industry practitioners.
- Enabling managers to develop the capacity to think with clarity and develop feasible solutions that promote the wellbeing of their organization, community and society.
- Exposing students to the knowledge, skills and attributes required for effective management and leadership beyond the workplace.
Intended Learning Outcomes:
The programme seeks to produce:
- Specialists to metamorphose efficiency/economic status-quo to urban structure and the environment with a view to improving the level-of-service of the urban freight transport systems.
- Urban transport planners to mitigate negative impacts of transport, notably freight transport on urban environment.
- Active participants, who will enforce truck restraints so that public transit modes would not compete for limited road space in line with the Lagos State Road Traffic Law of 2012.
- Agents of remedial measures involving transport planning and logistics, within the framework of city logistics.
- Urban transport policy makers equipped with the in-depth knowledge of managing the transport system and its operation with the urban environment.
Admission Requirements
Any of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the EMBA Programme:
- Bachelor’s degree from an approved University.
- HND with a minimum of credit from an approved Institution.
- Professional qualifications, such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIIN, ACIPM, AMNIM, ACIB and similar others.
- In additional to any of the above, candidates must have a minimum of five working years and (3) years managerial / administrative experience.
Graduation Requirements
Duration of Programme:
The Executive Programme will run for a minimum of six semesters and maximum of nine semesters. A semester consists of sixteen weeks.

- A candidate must fulfill the following conditions to be awarded the MBA degree:
