Dr. Aliu Momoh

Facilitator at the University of Lagos Business School EMBA. Educated at Auchi Polytechnic, Lagos State University, Ambrose Alli University and Leeds Business School, Leeds Beckett University. He holds NCE (Account/ Economics), B.Sc. (Finance and Banking), PGD (Economics), MLS (Administrative Law and Policy Studies), M.Sc. (Economics), M.Sc. (Corporate Governance) and Ph.D. (Accountancy, Finance and Economics). Dr Momoh has conducted research in the public private partnership, public debt and infrastructure finance. He has authored / co-authored books and journal articles.

He has over 30 years industry expertise and experience in finance, accounting, governance and project management. Currently serving as Senior Policy Advisor, Infrastructure Finance Public Investment Management II project. He is also a member of the Tax Advisory Committee and the WAIFEM Public Debt Management Faculty, as well as the Investment Thematic Lead for the National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER). He was the Head of Broker Dealer Regulations, Risk and Regulation Directorate, Strategy and Business Development Directorate, Issuers' Services and Listings Departments at the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Had his Securities Dealer training and experience at TRW Stockbrokers Limited and worked for Dangote Group before entering the securities industry, where he held positions such as Group Financial Accountant, Finance and Administrative Manager (Transport Division), Accounts Manager for Northern Region Operations, and Group Inventory Controller and worked in audit, consulting, the public sector, and manufacturing.

Dr. Momoh is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Training & Development and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators of Nigeria.  He is also a Certified Public Private Partnership Specialist, Project Management Professional and Member of the Canadian Economic Association and Nigerian Economic Society. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers' Governing Council, where he is Vice Chair of the Education Committee and Chair of the Institute's Curriculum Development Subcommittee. He previously served on the Governing Council of the Nigerian Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Nigeria Institute of Training and Development
