Dr (Mrs) Folake Feyisayo Olowokudejo attended the University of Lagos where she obtained a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Insurance; Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in Marketing (M.Sc. Marketing). She proceeded to Lagos State University where she earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration.

She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Actuarial Science and Insurance, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Lagos. Her experience spans over 25 years of Teaching, Research, Curriculum Development, Consultancy and Community Services. She has served the University in several capacities. She was an Assistant Coordinator, MBA (2013 - 2015); Faculty Examination Officer, (2015 - 2017); Sub Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, (2017 – 2019); Member, Central  Examinations Committee (2015 – 2017); Member, Board of the University of Lagos School of Postgraduate Studies (2016 to date); Member, Conference and Research Committee, Faculty of Management Sciences (2018 -2021); Coordinator, MBA Programme, University of Lagos, (2019 to 2021); Elected Member of Senate, University of Lagos (2016 to date); Chairman, Humanities Curriculum Review Committee of School of Postgraduate Studies (2021 to date) among others.

Dr (Mrs) Folake Olowokudejo has supervised over eighty post graduate theses and currently supervises four Ph.D. students. She has attended several local and international conferences and published widely in international learned and high impact journals. She is a fellow of the Chattered Institute of Loan and Risk Management (CILRM); fellow, Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN); Fellow, Chattered Institute of Certified Business Consultants (ICBC),Canada;  Fellow,  Institute of Certified Business Consultants (ICBC), Nigeria; and a member of several other professional bodies. She is the National Staff Adviser, AISEC Nigeria. She serves as examiner to many professional bodies including Chattered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN) and as external examiner to Department of Insurance, Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos, Nigeria.
