Dr. Ade Ekundayo BADEJO

Dr. Ade Ekundayo Badejo, B.Sc. (OSU), M.Sc., Ph.D. (Lagos), MCIPM, MNIM is a Senior Lecturer of Employment/Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management at the University of Lagos.

Prior to joining the University, he had worked as the Operations Manager at One-co Resource Limited, Lagos and as Manager at Rhema Global Ventures Limited, Lagos. In his academic and professional career, Dr. Badejo has jointly or singly supervised over 50 master and 150 Undergraduate theses. He has been teaching General Management, Employment Relations and Human Resource Management since 2005.

At the University of Lagos, he was and still is, a Member of the University Senate (2015-to-date); Co-ordinator, Strategic Human Resource Management Executive Programme of the UNILAG Business School; Deputy Co-ordinator, Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Programme; Member of University Library Committee of Senate.  He has served in many capacities – such as Course Adviser, Staff Adviser, Admission Officer, Examination Officer etc. Member, Academic Board, UNILAG Business School.  He had mentored many students at both the undergraduate and post graduate level. He is a member of the HR research group, University of Lagos. He had also served as Invigilator and Lagos State Centre Coordinator (2009 – 2015) for the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Professional Examinations and A Member of CIPM Education Committee, 2013 – 2015; 2019 –to-date ( A committee of Council) as well as one of the Researcher for the Publication of CIPM at 50 Strategic/Historical Book. A full Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) and full Member Chartered Institute of Management (CIPM) Nigeria. Currently the Chairman, Lagos Island Personnel Practitioner Consultative Association (LIPPCA). He is an HR Licensed Practitioner (2015-2018).Member, Board of Examiners, Nigerian Institute of Management. And Chairman, Curriculum Development Committee, Department of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management, University of Lagos. He had contributed immensely to the development of curriculum in the field of Industrial /Employment Relations and Human Resource Management. He also contributed to the development of reading Manual in Introduction to Management and Personnel/ Human Resource Management. He has authored/co-authored over 20 scholarly publications emanating from research in the areas of business organisations, industrial relations, labour economics, human resource management and research methodology.
